- Assaults on nurses 16%
- Slips, trips and falls (by nurses) 54%
- Injuries that resulted in nursing staff being away from work for three days or more:
- Manual handling 51%
- Assaults 20%
- On average, there is one fatality to a health care sector employee, per year.
